As next weekend approaches, I am filled with anticipation for my first rally photography event of the year.
The Get Jerky Rally North Wales, promoted by Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club, this compact one day rally will once again be a round of the Fuchs Lubricants Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship, Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship, West Wales Rally Spares Stage Masters, MINI Rally Challenge and ANWCC Forest Rally Championship. The popular loose surface stage event, Rally North Wales has secured a new partnership with Welshpool-based Trailhead Fine Foods for 2023 and will be known as the Get Jerky Rally North Wales, the event will move from its base in Dolgellau to a brand-new home in Welshpool thanks to the new title sponsor.
The Get Jerky Rally North Wales promises to be an exhilarating experience, and I can't wait to capture the excitement and adrenaline of the event through my lens.
As I prepare for the weekend, I am taking time to double-check my gear, making sure everything is in order. I am packing extra batteries, cleaning my lenses, and ensuring that all of my equipment is in good working order.
The Get Jerky Rally North Wales is known for fast-paced action and stunning scenery, and I am excited to capture the cars as they speed through the Welsh countryside. I have been studying the course maps and planning my strategy for capturing the best shots.
I will primarily taking shots for the Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship, However, I make an effort to capture at least one photograph of every car.
