RevsFest 2026 arrived at Dunkeswell Raceway bringing together cars, live music and a fantastic festival atmosphere high up on the Blackdown Hills.
Unfortunately, the famous Blackdown weather decided to join the party too!
Throughout the day we experienced some pretty challenging conditions, including several torrential downpours. But despite everything the weather threw at the event, it certainly didn't dampen the enthusiasm of those attending, performing or working behind the scenes.
And the Bands Played On! 🎸🎶
For me, one of the real highlights of RevsFest 2026 was the live music.
Throughout the day I had the pleasure of photographing Angelica, Back at Nicks, Save the Cheerleader, Bloxed Beats, The Back River Rats and The Velocirocktors during their excellent sets.
What a great collection of bands and performers they were!
With much of the talent coming from the South West, it was a brilliant showcase of the quality of live music we have right here in our part of the country.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, every one of the bands gave their all. The rain may have been hammering down outside at times, but the performances continued with tremendous energy, enthusiasm and professionalism.
Quite simply, the bands played on!
It would have been very easy for the weather to take the shine off the day, but these performers certainly didn't allow that to happen. From behind the camera, it was great to capture not only the individual performances but also the character, energy and passion each band brought to the stage.
A huge well done and thank you to Angelica, Back at Nicks, Save the Cheerleader, Bloxed Beats, The Back River Rats and The Velocirocktors for some excellent live music throughout the day. 🎸🥁🎤

A big thank you to everyone involved in RevsFest 2026 — the organisers, bands, performers, exhibitors and everyone who ventured up onto the Blackdowns and refused to let a bit (or rather a lot!) of rain spoil the day.
The weather certainly tested everyone, but the enthusiasm remained.
The rain came down… and the bands played on. 🎸☔🎶
